DETAILED NOTES ON ND:CE:YAG CRYSTAL

Radiation induced recharging of Ce3+ and Ce4+ ions in Ce and Nd doped yttrium-aluminium garnet crystals was observed. This influence depends on the Ce3+ ion concentration and the kind of ionizing radiation.The final results present that the growth environment force has a more considerable affect on defect formation in comparison with the crystal ro
